What must my facility do to protect workers during a pandemic?
What standards require annual training, what needs to be covered, and how do I document it?
What does OSHA require the employer to do after a needlestick injury?
These are some of the most commonly asked questions involving OSHA compliance in all types of healthcare facilities. These questions probably sound familiar, but undoubtedly you have your own specific issues on which you seek guidance. HCPro and OSHA Healthcare Advisor are here to provide that assistance.
You provide the topics, we provide the expertise
Get expert OSHA advice and analysis at HCPro's unique, interactive audio conference, OSHA Healthcare Advisor's Q&A Roundtable: Solutions to Your Compliance Challenges, where the topic is OSHA, but the agenda and direction of the discussion is determined by you. On Tuesday, May 19, at 1 p.m. (Eastern), speak directly with occupational safety and health experts John Schaefer, CIH, HEM, CPEA (Johns Hopkins University, Hospital and Health Systems) and Jane Perry (International Healthcare Worker Safety Center) during our 60-minute roundtable format.
You can either pre-submit your question via e-mail by clicking here or you can ask it directly to the speakers during the live program.
We guarantee you get the answers you need
As a bonus, following the program, you will receive a special report containing questions and answers from the show, as well as the speakers' written response to any submitted queries that went unanswered during the live audio conference. This format ensures that all of your questions are answered, and that you leave the program with a valuable reference guide addressing relevant safety issues faced by you and your peers.
Perhaps you have a specific question about OSHA's bloodborne pathogen standard. Or maybe you're not even sure that a particular situation warrants OSHA oversight. Our expert panel will be able to field any of your compliance questions for healthcare facilities both large and small.
**We cannot guarantee that your question will be answered during the live program, but all questions will be addressed in the special report.
At the conclusion of the program participants will be able to:
- Determine what jurisdictions OSHA covers
- Differentiate where certain standards apply
- Recognize situations where an OSHA standard is in violation
- Assess their own facilities compliance
