Deirdre Mylod PhD., is vice president of acute services at Press Ganey and has been with the company since 1997. Dr. Mylod has developed Press Ganey’s launch of the HCAHPS initiative and is their representative on the National Quality Forum and has participated on National Quality Forum Technical Expert Panels for projects related to the evaluation of measures and guidelines for public reporting of health care quality data. Dr. Mylod has presented at national conferences—CAHPS 10th Annual UGM, AcademyHealth ARM, NAHQ, SHCA and is a member of the American Psychological Association and AcademyHealth.
Kimberly Sparks is lead consultant on team 5 for Press Ganey Associates, Inc. and a member of the acute business unit. Sparks provides customer support to Press Ganey facilities across the nation and is responsible for initiating and maintaining patient satisfaction measurement projects within healthcare organizations. She has presented on various topics such as employee buy-in, return on investment, data interpretation, and the importance HCAHPS to over 65 healthcare organizations. Sparks partners with Press Ganey clients to clearly identify specific and unique areas of opportunity and is active in the development of valuable client deliverables and Press Ganey's webinars.
