The Impact of the New and Revised 2010 ICD-9-CM Codes
Product Description:
AUDIO CONFERENCE ON CD OR AUDIO ON-DEMAND
Sponsored by Briefings on Coding Compliance Strategiespresented on August 26, 2009
Listen to our seventh annual program!
Take a look at a few of the comments we received after last year's program:
- Both speakers are very knowledgeable and professional
- The doctor's clinical insight helped provide a more in-depth study of the new codes
- Both speakers gave very fact-based, easy-to-understand information
You need to be ready to start using the new and revised ICD-9-CM codes by October 1. Attend this 90-minute audio conference and learn what you need to know and do to implement the new codes into your current system.
Both of our nationally recognized speakers, Dr. Robert Gold and Gloryanne Bryant, return this year to deliver a comprehensive review of the new diagnosis and procedure codes and explanations of exactly how and when to use them. They are ready to help you:
- Identify the 2010 coding changes, including information on new and revised codes, and the rationale for code assignment from a clinical standpoint
- Organize ideas, suggestions, and tools to communicate changes to your physician staff and others
- Secure complete and efficient implementation of the revised codes into your existing system
- Explain main changes/updates to the alphabetical index and tabular list
You'll walk away from this program with a list of action steps to take to ensure your organization is ready to use the new codes correctly when they take effect on October 1.
NOTE: Participants should have a working knowledge of ICD-9-CM coding.
