Tools for Integrating Quality and Compliance
Product Description:
Audio Conference on CD or Audio On-Demand
Sponsored by The Healthcare Compliance Professional's Guide to Policies and Procedurespresented on July 14, 2009
PROBLEM
Governing bodies, such as CMS and the OIG, are urging healthcare providers to merge quality of care and compliance programs. However, right now, quality and compliance programs are not talking to one another, nor do they understand their obligations to the process. The board of directors, hospital administrators and compliance officers must collaborate to develop effective policies and procedures designed to achieve independence in compliance, as well as improve patient quality throughout the continuum of care.
SOLUTION
The silos between compliance and patient quality must be broken down, and everyone must understand their role in the process. Through data analytics and education of key stakeholders about their responsibilities, the common goal of improving efficiencies across compliance and quality of care can become everyone’s top priority.
LEARM FROM US
