MEET THE SPEAKERS

Sharon Chaput RN, C, CSHA, director of standards and quality management, Brattleboro Retreat (Brattleboro, VT). Chaput has spent 20 years working in Behavioral Health in various positions as a charge nurse, nurse manager, and program director. Most recently, her focus has been working in accreditation and quality management for both acute care and behavioral health departments and providing consultation services as well.

Tasha Farrar, MD, medical director, outpatient services, Brattleboro Retreat (Brattleboro, VT). Dr. Farrar supervises the work of other outpatient psychiatrists and a psychiatric APRN, carries a full case load of psychiatric outpatients, and frequently offers consultation to primary care physicians and OBGYNs about patient care and risk management. Her areas of specialty include peripartum mood disorders and student health, both of which require a strong focus on risk assessment and management.
