MEET THE SPEAKERS
Gloryanne Bryant, BA, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCDS, is the regional managing director HIM for Northern California Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA, and is responsible for coding, education, CDI and HIM operations for 21 acute care hospitals. She is a member of the editorial advisory board for Briefings on Coding Compliance Strategies, and has more than 30 years of experience in the HIM profession providing education to coders, physicians, and other hospital staff on IPPS, DRGs, HCCs, APCs, ICD-9-CM and CPT coding.
Stanley Nachimson, is the principal of Nachimson Advisors in Reisterstown, MD, director of the North Carolina Healthcare Information and Communications Alliance (NCHICA) / Workgroup for Electronic Data Exchange (WEDI) timeline project, and author of a paper on ICD-10 implementation steps. He is a co-chair of several WEDI working groups for ICD-10 implementation.
