About the authors
Jean Clark, RHIA, CSHA, is the director of health information services, at Roper St. Francis Health Services in Charleston, SC. She is a past president of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), was named AHIMA's 2000 Distinguished Member, and is the current vice president of the International Federation of Health Records Organizations.
Jodi L. Eisenberg, MHA, CPHQ, CPMSM, CSHA, is program manager of accreditation and clinical compliance at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She is responsible for leading the full range of Joint Commission and other accreditation and regulatory compliance activities.
