MEET THE SPEAKERS

Susan W. Hendrickson, MHRD/OD, RN, CPHQ, FACHE, director of clinical quality and patient safety, Via Christi Wichita Health Network (Wichita, KS). Hendrickson oversees patient safety, core measures, quality management/process improvement, clinical risk management, infection control, patient grievance resolution, regulatory compliance and survey readiness activities for two acute care campuses, a free-standing physical rehabilitation hospital, and a behavioral health facility.

Cyndie R. Cole RN, MSN. Cole has more than 30 years of experience in nursing, with most of those spent primarily in the emergency department. She spent nine years in nursing management, including six as the Chief Nurse Executive at a 223 bed county hospital. She has participated in three full Joint Commission surveys, two for cause and one extension survey when opening a new hospital.
