Pain Management Coding: Strategies to Ensure Compliance and Reduce Denials

Product Description:

AUDIO CONFERENCE ON CD OR ON-DEMAND

Sponsored by JustCoding.com

presented on April 14, 2010

The OIG has made pain management a focus area for 2010. With more complicated coding guidelines and decreasing reimbursement, coding for pain management is more challenging. Therefore, it more important than ever to ensure thorough documentation and compliant coding of these procedures. This 90-minute audio conference helps reduce denials that result from incorrect coding. Our expert speaker uses case studies to review covered diagnoses for common procedures, appropriate use of modifiers, add-on codes, and bundling issues that complicate pain management coding. Our speaker also analyzes changes to the facet injection codes for 2010.

Note: This is an intermediate to advanced-level program.
