Emergency Department Facility and Professional Coding

Product Description:

AUDIO CONFERENCE ON CD OR ON-DEMAND

Sponsored by Briefings on APCs

presented on April 26, 2010

Coders in the ED often code for both facility and physician services. Although some of the same codes are used, the rules for how they are applied for physician and facility charging can be dramatically different.

With increasing payer, RAC, and MIC scrutiny of ED coding and charging, you have more reason than ever to ensure that ED staff understand correct coding guidelines and documentation requirements.
