Vicky Goeddeke, MS, RN, CEN, CPEN, ANCC Magnet Recognition Program® and Nursing Excellence Manager, Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington, IL. Goeddeke advocates for the involvement of nurses at all levels in the organization’s unique shared governance model known as the Delegated Councilor Model©. She has been a nurse for 30 years, involved in various aspects of nursing both clinically and in leadership roles.
Amy Brown, MS, RN, NE-BC, Clinical Manager, Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital, Denver, CO. Brown came to Denver in 2007 to lead the opening of a 26-bed Cardiac and Vascular Surgery unit at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital, where she is currently employed in the same capacity. She has a passion for shared decision-making and has been actively involved at the hospital in the formation and implementation of both the nursing shared governance and interdisciplinary shared decision-making structures.
Vanita Bellen, Vice President, Human Resources, Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital, Denver, CO. As the vice president of human resources for Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, CO, Bellen oversees all human resource and organizational development functions including recruitment, employee relations, and team and leadership development. Bellen joined Exempla Healthcare in 2003 as director of Human Resources and became vice president in 2007.
