Product Description:
AUDIO CONFERENCE ON CD OR ON-DEMAND
Sponsored by ACDIS (Association for Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialists)
presented on May 6, 2010
Organizations that do not develop metrics to monitor their CDI programs’ success face increased compliance risk. They also may miss valuable opportunities to improve their severity of illness/risk of mortality scores, coded data, and reimbursement. This 90-minute audio conference features a look at a sample, generic CDI program and ways to incorporate metric monitoring into its processes.
Our speakers discuss theoretical department-level and individual CDI specialist metrics including what data elements to track, who should perform the reviews, and how often. They will also cover appropriate follow up and education.
