His areas of expertise include utilization and analysis of resources, quality and performance improvement, credentialing and privileging, medical staff quality monitoring, the Joint Commission standards and CMS compliance readiness, patient safety and health information management.

Mark Miani, MD, is Senior Medical Advisor, Expert Advisory Services for Executive Health Resources (EHR) in Newtown Square, PA. He has extensive experience with federal regulations, policies, and guidance issued by CMS affiliated contractors involved in medical review, audits, and investigations. His expertise includes utilization management and documentation improvement for care management, medical necessity, and length of stay.
