SPEAKERS
Chris Garvey, FNP, MSN, MPA, FAACVPR, is manager at Seton Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation, and nurse practitioner at University of California San Francisco Sleep Disorders. She is a board member of the American Association for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) and the Pulmonary Education and Research Foundation. Her research focus includes the impact of pulmonary rehab on health care utilization and special populations.
Karen Lui, RN, MS, is a legislative and regulatory analyst with GRQ Consulting, LLC, a healthcare consulting firm that specializes in the needs of pulmonary and cardiac professional and patient organizations. Her experience includes 9 years directing hospital-based cardiac rehabilitation programs, and 15 years directing cardiology practice-based cardiac rehab programs, cardiovascular screening programs, and a physician-based InterVent risk education program. She is a former president and board of director member of AACVPR.
