Meet the Speakers:

Cheryl Head, RN, BSN, MBA, Director of Patient Care Services at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She is responsible for management of the General Medical-Surgical units, which comprise a total of 94 inpatient beds. Previously, she served as the Clinical Operations Manager for the Aflac Cancer Center for four years and in some form of nursing management on the Pediatric Hematology Oncology/BMT Unit at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for 17 years.

Robin J. Warnick, RN, BSN, Clinical Patient Safety Coordinator, Quality Department, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. She has worked as a Patient Safety Coordinator for the past five years and has prior clinical experience working as a PICU nurse, an ECMO Specialist, and a Pediatric Critical Care Transport nurse. She has facilitated process improvement teams for handoffs since 2005 at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and is currently serving on the Child Health Corporation of America Expert Advisory Panel for Handoffs.
