Cardiac Catheterization and Peripheral Revascularization
2011 CPT Coding Changes Explained
Product Description:
AUDIO CONFERENCE ON CD OR ON-DEMAND
Sponsored by: JustCoding.com
Presented on Thursday, April 28, 2011
As part of the 2011 CPT update, the AMA overhauled the cardiac catheterization codes and peripheral revascularization codes. This means a change from component to bundled coding. Failure to understand the codes changes could mean a loss of entitled revenue.
During this two-hour audio conference, our speakers will explain the changes and offer tips and suggestions to accurately assign and bill the new codes. You will learn what to look for in the documentation and translate that to the proper code.
At the conclusion of this audio conference, you will be able to:
- Describe the 2011 CPT changes to cardiac catheterization and revascularization
- Explain the effect code changes have on APCs and reimbursement
- Discuss the change from component to bundled coding for cardiac and peripheral revascularization procedures
- Identify peripheral revascularization target areas and territory grouping
