ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

Dan Ross, PharmD, President of D Ross Consulting. Ross helps hospitals and health systems improve patient safety, medication safety, pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. His recent work involves performing medication safety assessments at more than 50 hospitals and serving as interim Director of Pharmacy at three facilities.

Amy Gutierrez, Pharm D, is the Chief Pharmacy Officer and Director of Pharmacy Affairs for the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. Gutierrez has over 25 years of inpatient and ambulatory care experience, with extensive focus on state and federal regulatory standard compliance. Gutierrez is a current member of the California Hospital Medication Safety Committee, and has also served as a pod advisor for the California Healthcare Foundation’s Leadership Fellowship program.
