SPEAKERS:
Scott Russinoff, MD, Orthopedic Surgeon, Westchester Medical Center and Hudson Valley Hospital
Russinoff is a fellowship-trained, board-certified attending orthopedic surgeon at Westchester Medical Center and Hudson Valley Hospital Center. He specializes in hip and knee replacement, hip resurfacing, and partial knee replacement surgery, using the latest technology, including computer navigation and minimally invasive techniques.
Russinoff received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn. He did his orthopedic residency at New York Medical College and his joint replacement fellowship at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute. He is an assistant professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at New York Medical College, the author of several research papers, and has lectured and presented his research at international conferences.
Peggy Naas, MD, MBA, Orthopedic Surgeon/Vice President Physician Strategies, VHA
Naas assists VHA members in creating and implementing hospital–physician relationship strategies, and she facilitates VHA’s New Models of Payment and Shared Savings Networks and the VHA CEO Teleconference Series on new care delivery models. Additionally, Naas serves as executive champion for the VHA Chief Medical Officer Affinity Group and is the subject matter expert for the orthopedic service line and the cardiovascular service line networks. She also consults on surgeon engagement and supply chain initiatives in orthopedic surgery.
A board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Naas previously practiced at Allina Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis, MN. Naas received her BS in Nursing and her MD degree from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing and Medical School, respectively. She also received an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN.
